N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. was established in January 1991 in response to the needs of Thailand’s specific and important business sector

The combined strength of the company’s substantial and established business partners together with the up-front registered capital, ensure a diverse range of essential management skills, backed by experience and expertise in such vital areas as convention center and hotel management as well as property management and development.

Following the opening in 1991 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, the Thai government, in pursuit of its policy of developing the country as a regional center of trade and finance, looked to the private sector to manage the Center’s operation and marketing. Through competitive bidding, N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. was selected by The Ministry of Finance to be the management company of the Center.

An early challenge, and an honor for NCC, was managing the newly opened Center when it served as the venue for Thailand’s hosting of the 46th Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund. Its subsequent success was highlighted in a letter from the World Bank Secretariat which described the Bangkok meetings as “
the best ever.”

Following that highly successful inaugural event which firmly established the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center as a national landmark and a worthy newcomer to the list of top international convention centers, NCC has worked tirelessly to develop the Center and the company’s own capabilities and services.

Today, NCC is synonymous with a bold and imaginative management style that continues to set new standards with innovative planning, in tune with the country’s fast-paced economy and the increasing expectations of both domestic and international customers.

When the QSNCC was first opened, many of the services were sub-contracted. Since those days, NCC has taken those services in-house in order to capture more revenue and, more importantly, to assure that all services provided to users of, and visitors to, the Center are state-of-the art, and are all under one roof. As a result, Professional Conference Organizer ( PCO ), and three more subsidiary companies more subsidiary companies, namely, N.C.C. Exhibition Organizer Co., Ltd. (Exhibition Organizer), F&B International Co. Ltd. ( Banqueting and Catering services ), and N.C.C.Image Co., Ltd. ( booth design and construction ) were established.

During 1996-2005, N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. received international recognition by being awarded the management contract for the convention facilities, sports complex and town hall in Christchurch, New Zealand. Through a competitive worldwide bidding process, NCC was chosen to open and manage these facilities because of its uncompromising commitment to quality, innovative management style and extensive international networking capabilities.

In 1997, NCC has been awarded a 10-year management contract by Khon Kaen University Board Committee to operate its new convention hall called “The Golden Jubilee Convention Hall”. N.C.C. Management & Development Co., Ltd. realizes that this will enable us to serve the country even better in terms of bringing economic impact to other parts of Thailand.

In the beginning of year 2006, NCC has been entrusted to manage Thailand Science Park Convention Center (TSPCC), located at Thailand Science Park (TSP), Thailand’s first science and technology park under the management of the National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Ministry of Science and Technology. A four-story convention center with the total area of 30,000 sq.m. suitable for local and national scale conferences, seminars and exhibitions is the latest desirable MICE destinations for both domestic & international organizers and exhibitors.

In 2008, NCC has been also entrusted to manage The 60th Anniversary of His Majesty the King’s Accession to the Throne International Convention Center, Thailand’s newest international convention center and the largest in the country’s southern region, situated within the Hatyai campus of Prince of Songkla University on Punnakan Road. A 54-rai with the totally over 15,000-sq.m. utilized area can accommodate up to 5,000 (TBC) people and can be adapted to host everything from seminar conferences to national and international-scale trade fairs. The center will be open in Mid 2008.

Over the coming years, the range and quality of services provided by N.C.C. companies will continue to be expanded and improved, towards the eventual goal of providing customers with a true “one-stop” service with the highest possible standards of professionalism at every level.
