Mr. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, welcomed Dr. Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), during her visit to review and discuss venue preparations for the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, scheduled to take place from 12–18 October 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has marked a historic milestone on the global stage by winning two prestigious accolades at the World MICE Awards 2025. The center was named “Best Convention Centre in Asia”, becoming the first convention center from Thailand to receive this regional distinction, and also secured the title of “Best Convention Centre in Thailand” for the third consecutive year.

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SCIeco Services Co., Ltd., under SCG, to elevate its internal waste management through a comprehensive “Waste-to-Value” model. This collaboration introduces advanced technology that transforms general waste into Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF), significantly reducing landfill waste and accelerating QSNCC’s journey toward its Net Zero 2050 goal.

The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is set to “unlock” a new chapter in the global gaming industry by hosting “gamescom asia x Thailand Game Show”, the first-ever and largest international gaming festival in Southeast Asia. This unprecedented event combines a comprehensive business zone and a full-scale entertainment zone for the very first time in the world — covering every dimension of the gaming ecosystem, from business negotiations and technological showcases to immersive entertainment experiences for gamers and communities. Expected to attract over 200,000 visitors from around the globe, the event will take place from October 16–19, 2025.
