APEC 2022 Thailand Success proves QSNCC's Global Readiness
Bangkok- 24 November 2022 - The 29th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting (AELM) and Related Meetings under the theme “Open. Connect. Balance.” Held during 14-19 November 2022 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) was a tremendous success for Thailand. The Meeting welcomed APEC Leaders, Ministers, delegates, as well as press from APEC Member Economies, Guests of the Chair and international organizations with approximately 5,000 delegates.
Ambassador Thanathip Upatising, Chief of APEC 2022 Task Force, Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reflected that, “this success is a result of collaboration and cooperation between both governmental and private sectors. Therefore, we had worked tirelessly for this Thailand’s host year.”

Besides the venue, QSNCC was honored to cater APEC Leaders, Ministers and delegates in various occasions throughout the meeting week. Food and Beverage were designed under the concept the Bio-Circular-Green Economy (BCG) which represented sustainability, eco-design, and zero-waste.
On Level LG, Press Center: Media dined on Thai and international cuisine. Thai desserts such as Bulan Dan Mek, Cho Muang, La Tiang, Khanom Bueang, and Pan Sip Nueng were served daily. Media could also experience the beauty of Thai handicrafts and textiles during their meals. On Level G, Delegate dining area: Delegates were experienced Thai foods and desserts made from famous local specialties such as pomelo, lotus flowers, coconuts, and bananas. Lastly, on Level 1, APEC Leaders, Ministers, and Senior Officials zone: a variety of Thai special dishes were created and served in various meals to impress distinguished delegates, such as Thai street food from across Thailand, authentic Thai cuisine, and Thai fusion food.
