Legendary Run for Mom 28th Edition Returns! Honoring National Mother's Day with a Charity Run “The 12th August Half Marathon Bangkok 2023”
The legendary “Run for Mom” returns after a 3-year break. N.C.C. Management and Development Company Limited or NCC, the operator of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), brings back the “12th August Half Marathon Bangkok 2023” for its 28th edition. In collaboration with the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, Thai Beverage Public Company Limited, and various public and private agencies, NCC organizes a charity run to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, on her 91st Birthday Anniversary. Winners will be awarded the Queen Mother’s Cup, the Bangkok Governor’s Cup, and various prizes. All proceeds after expenses will be donated to Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC) based at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, under the auspices of the Thai Red Cross Society, on Saturday, 12th August 2023, at QSNCC

Management and Development Co., Ltd. stated, "The event remained on hiatus for over three years while QSNCC underwent an extensive renovation in 2019, with the ambitious goal of transforming it into 'The Ultimate Inspiring World Class Event Platform for All.' Now, in 2023, NCC proudly resurrects the legendary charity run/walk at the new QSNCC, which boasts a picturesque setting encompassed by the verdant landscapes of Benjakitti Park, nestled in the heart of bustling Bangkok.

“The 12th August Half Marathon Bangkok 2023” welcomes 5,000 runners across four categories: a 21.1km half-marathon, a 10km mini-marathon, a 6km fun run, and a 1.8km run/walk in Benjakitti Park. The half-marathon is the toughest, with six bridges challenging pros. Highlights include “Bonding between Mother and Child” theme prizes for fancy runners, GMM TV artists joining, and numerous special activities.
