QSNCC Expands Its Retail Zone with “Sarapad Thai”A Key Piece Adding a Distinctive Thai Dimension Ready for the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings

06 Oct 2026

Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) continues to enhance its Retail Zone with a wider range of offerings designed to meet diverse lifestyles. The latest addition is “Sarapad Thai,” a curated destination bringing together Thai crafts, design, food and gifts through a contemporary lens. As another key piece of QSNCC’s Retail Zone, Sarapad Thai adds a distinctive Thai dimension to the experience while bringing the charm of Thailand to an international audience. The store will welcome international delegates for the first time during the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, taking place from 12–18 October 2026.

Sarapad Thai adds another dimension to QSNCC’s Retail Zone through its “etc. Thainess” concept, which presents Thai identity in contemporary and accessible ways. Acting as a Curator, the store brings together products that reflect Thai lifestyles and creativity, selected not only for their quality and design, but also for the stories behind them—giving each piece its own expression of Thailand.

Surapol Utintu, Chief Executive Officer of Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, said, “In developing QSNCC’s Retail Zone, we are looking beyond simply adding more shops and services. We want to create memorable experiences for our users, especially international visitors who may have limited time. We want a visit to QSNCC to be more than attending an event. It should also be an opportunity to experience art and culture, enjoy Thai food and spend time exploring the different spaces within QSNCC. Sarapad Thai is another place where customers can discover Thai products and creative works through a contemporary lens and take home a memorable experience.”

“As QSNCC prepares to welcome the 2026 IMF–World Bank Group Annual Meetings, this will be another opportunity for international delegates to discover Thailand and experience its unique character at QSNCC,” Surapol added.

Thiranant Kornsritipa, First Executive Vice President, and Retail Business Development Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited, said, “We chose QSNCC for Sarapad Thai because of its ability to reach a diverse audience—from Thai and international visitors to people of different ages and lifestyles. This aligns with the concept of Sarapad Thai, which presents Thai identity in a contemporary and accessible way. We hope Sarapad Thai will be more than a place to shop for souvenirs. It is a space where people can discover the stories, creativity and charm of Thailand through the things we have brought together. The QSNCC branch also features products available exclusively here, which we have specially selected for this location.”

At the QSNCC branch, Sarapad Thai has selected a range of products to suit the venue and its diverse customer base, from fashion and accessories to crafts and home décor. Each piece represents a “Piece of Thailand”—something customers can take home along with a story and a lasting impression of Thailand.

The store also features a dedicated QSNCC Collection, inspired by iconic symbols and landmarks of Bangkok, including tuk-tuks, the Giant Swing, the BTS, the Garuda, Wat Phra Kaew and the QSNCC building itself. These elements are reinterpreted through contemporary design and transformed into a range of everyday items and souvenirs, including scarves, tote bags, tumblers, notebooks and coffee cups.

Sarapad Thai at QSNCC is located on Level G, near the Business Center, and is open daily from 10:00 AM–8:00 PM.
