QSNCC's Inspirational Space Empowers Youth to Unleash Creativity and Drive Thailand's Economy Forward
The Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) is encouraging the younger generation to unleash their creative power through four exciting events slated for October in its inspiring space: “The 28th National Book Fair” or "Book Expo Thailand 2023"; the ultimate pop music festival, "PEPSI Presents T-POP Concert Fest 2"; the largest gaming event in Southeast Asia, "Thailand Game Show x Wonder Festival Bangkok 2023", featuring a groundbreaking collaboration with the legendary Wonder Festival from Japan; and the "CHANG MUSIC CONNECTION Presents FATCAT Concert”. QSNCC remains steadfast in its support for the creative industry and its commitment to contributing to the Thai economy.
The creative industry has consistently exhibited growth trends year after year. In 2021, the creative economy was valued at approximately 1.1 trillion baht. Notably, Thailand's gaming and animation industry managed to generate revenue of up to 37 billion baht. Furthermore, the rapidly rising popularity of T-POP within the music industry is extending its revenue streams into the country. Additionally, the printing industry, often regarded as a source of creative ideas, has experienced a resurgence following the COVID-19 pandemic. It has contributed significantly to the expansion of the creative sector, playing a pivotal role in driving the Thai economy forward.
In addition to the potential of the younger generation (People) and creative activities that can contribute to the economy (Product), the platform or venue (Place) plays another vital role in propelling Thailand's creative industry. The QSNCC, known as The Ultimate Inspiring World Class Event Platform for All, caters to a wide range of events and offers an inspirational experience for the younger generation. It provides a space that fosters innovative events throughout the month of October.
- Book Expo Thailand 2023, also known as the 28th National Book Fair, is slated to take place from October 12 - 23, 2023. This year, the legendary book event is themed around the question, ‘What’s the dream book you wish to read?’
- PEPSI Presents T-POP Concert Fest 2 is set for October 14 - 15, 2023, promising a massive pop music festival right in the heart of the city. It will feature over 50 T-POP artists from various labels, performing over two exciting days.
- Thailand Game Show x Wonder Festival Bangkok 2023 is scheduled from October 20 - 22, 2023. This groundbreaking collaboration combines Thailand Game Show, the largest gaming event in Southeast Asia, with Wonder Festival, the renowned Japanese toy and figure collectibles event, for the very first time. The event is unified under the theme of 'Assemble.'
- CHANG MUSIC CONNECTION Presents FATCAT Concert, featuring artists from the 1990s-2000s, is slated for October 28, 2023. Anticipate nostalgic performances and a reunion with beloved games and toys from your childhood, sure to evoke cherished memories.
